Show Notes

Host: Yusuf

At the Podcast Summit 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia, Yusuf put some of the biggest relationship "Would You Rather" questions in front of podcasters from around the country—and the answers were funny, honest, unexpected, and guaranteed to spark debate.

Some people chose peace over passion.
Others chose great sex over a peaceful relationship.
And some answers may completely change how you think about trust, love, and commitment.

In this episode of the Relationship Status Podcast, we tackle questions like:
• Would you rather your partner go through your phone or read your thoughts?
• Would you rather be cheated on or have your partner fall out of love with you?
• Would you rather be settled for or be "the best they ever had" before they leave?
• Secret OnlyFans account or secret child?
• Amazing sex with no peace... or peace with terrible sex?

These relationship dilemmas reveal what people truly value when it comes to love, trust, intimacy, honesty, and long-term commitment.

Whether you're dating, married, single, or somewhere in between, this episode will have you asking yourself...
What would YOU choose?

Join the conversation in the comments:
Which question was the hardest?
Which answer surprised you the most?
Would your answers be different from the guests?

[00:00:00] Speaker A: Would you rather marry someone who gives you amazing sex but no peace but give or someone who gives you peace but the sex is trash. [00:00:10] Speaker B: Trash, trash. [00:00:12] Speaker A: Whatever your definition of trash is, it's trash. [00:00:15] Speaker B: Like, can't be helped. [00:00:16] Speaker A: No. For the rest of your life. [00:00:19] Speaker B: For the rest of my life. No peace. [00:00:22] Speaker A: No. [00:00:24] Speaker C: Well, [00:00:34] Speaker B: Okay, okay, okay. The thought's in my mind, right? [00:00:39] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:00:40] Speaker B: Well, I'm a trained mediator, so I feel like I can fix this no peace problem. [00:00:54] Speaker A: Welcome back to Relationship Status. It's your boy Yousef in the building. And remember, you can find us on all podcast platforms. Remember to like, share, follow and five star rate, man. Look, I've had a great weekend. I'm here at The Podcast Summit 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia and this episode is brought to you directly. From there I had an opportunity to make a meet a bunch of great podcasters. Had a great time, enjoyed myself 100%. Got a chance to get a bunch of people to play either or. And you know how we go with either or. Sometimes it's good times, sometimes it's not. Go ahead, make sure you check out either or. Make sure you check out this episode coming straight to you from The Podcast Summit 2026, Atlanta, Georgia. Would you rather your partner go through your phone whenever they want or have access to your thoughts for one hour? [00:01:45] Speaker D: Go through my phone whenever they want. Access to my thoughts. Access to my thoughts. [00:01:53] Speaker E: Phone. Absolutely. Reason why? I'll be honest, thought wise. I watch a lot of different stuff. I watch criminal stuff, curial, serial killer stuff, a lot of different dark shit. I would hate for them to get in my thoughts and assume that because I had a little thought that's like that. Long term, no phone. I am not hiding anything. I'm an open book. If you want to go through my phone, please do. But I will say whatever you find in there, just. Just be. Just be willing to accept it. I feel like if you go look for something, you may find it. I don't think I'm hiding anything, but you never know either. [00:02:22] Speaker F: It doesn't matter. So either one either. Or they can go through my phone whenever they want. [00:02:28] Speaker A: Okay. [00:02:29] Speaker G: Whenever they want. Like forever. [00:02:31] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:02:35] Speaker G: My wife can go through my phone. My kids go through my phone. [00:02:46] Speaker C: How long do they go through the phone? [00:02:48] Speaker H: Whenever they want. [00:02:49] Speaker C: Oh, whenever they want. He can have my thoughts for one hour. [00:02:52] Speaker A: Same thoughts. Okay. [00:02:57] Speaker B: I'm really okay with both, but I feel like access to my thoughts for a day would be cool. [00:03:05] Speaker I: I'm going to say go through my phone whenever he wants. [00:03:08] Speaker H: Yeah, I'm going to say the same. I don't want my thoughts be all over the place, man. [00:03:13] Speaker J: Oh, my God. All right. My wife is probably going to watch this. [00:03:19] Speaker H: Dang. [00:03:20] Speaker J: I rather go through my phone. First off, there's nothing in my phone. So go through my phone. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I had to think about. I was like, I'm overthinking this. Go through my phone. Yeah, there's nothing in my phone. Yeah. [00:03:32] Speaker A: Would you rather find out your partner cheated but didn't love the person or they fell out of love with you? [00:03:44] Speaker D: Repeat that. Repeat that one again. [00:03:46] Speaker A: Find out. Would you rather find out that your partner cheated but didn't love the person or that your partner fell out of love with you? [00:04:00] Speaker D: Fell out of love. [00:04:01] Speaker A: Okay. [00:04:05] Speaker E: Number one. Number one, I feel like. Let me go into number two. If I ever find out. Number two, we not gonna be together. Like, if you feel out of love with me, I'm sure that there's probably somebody else you do love, so go be with her. It's always going back to that. I'm not selfish. But number one, I'm not saying that I would accept or be happy that somebody cheated, but I'd rather it be like something meaningless versus again, it's something like we just don't have it. It's missing. So you gonna probably cheat again? In my opinion, if it's the latter. [00:04:32] Speaker A: Okay. [00:04:33] Speaker E: So you know. [00:04:38] Speaker J: Oh, [00:04:42] Speaker F: oh. [00:04:43] Speaker C: I'm gonna say cheated and then loved it. I mean, I have a high non negotiable on cheating. Right, but at least you can get past and work through the cheating. If the love is gone, you can't do nothing with that. So that's the end of the relationship. [00:04:59] Speaker A: Okay. Do you agree? [00:05:00] Speaker K: I do agree. I want to disagree. [00:05:03] Speaker C: I want to disagree. [00:05:04] Speaker E: But we don't plan on cheating. [00:05:07] Speaker K: Yeah. [00:05:08] Speaker D: Jesus. [00:05:09] Speaker J: These are amazing questions. I guess I would rather for her cheat and never love the person. I guess that's a crazy question. I don't know. That's a great question, though. [00:05:23] Speaker F: Oh, I'm gonna take the cheating. I'm gonna take the cheating. [00:05:28] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:05:37] Speaker B: Cheated one time. How do you secretly fall out of love with somebody? [00:05:41] Speaker A: I mean, like, I feel like you're [00:05:42] Speaker B: gonna know they fell out of love [00:05:43] Speaker A: with you, but you didn't. [00:05:44] Speaker B: But maybe that they fell out of love, because I think that that happens and. [00:05:52] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:05:53] Speaker B: And you just get back in it [00:05:54] Speaker A: and you just didn't fall back in love. [00:05:55] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:05:56] Speaker B: Fall back in love. [00:05:56] Speaker A: All right. [00:05:57] Speaker J: Ooh. [00:05:57] Speaker G: That's two heartbreaks in one, bro. Cheated but didn't love the person or fell out of love with you, [00:06:06] Speaker K: man. [00:06:07] Speaker G: I think I'd have to take the chance on falling out of love. Maybe we could fall back in love. I met a lot of people in 30 year marriages since I've been here at the summit. [00:06:18] Speaker F: I would rather find out that they fell out of love with me. I would need to know what's really going on. [00:06:23] Speaker B: Absolutely. [00:06:24] Speaker A: Would you rather find out that your partner settles for you or that your partner thinks that you're the best they ever had, but they end up leaving anyway? [00:06:37] Speaker D: The best they ever had and they ended up leaving. [00:06:43] Speaker E: Best they ever had, but they leave me anyway. Let me tell you like this. As of right now, I'll be honest. Most of the people I have dated, that is the case. I want to leave you better than I, I came with you with. So if I leave you with the fact of like you, she was a great person. We had this, we had that. But you can go do something better for the next person. Great kudos to you. However, if I find out that you are telling people you set up for me, babe, go find your dream girl. I'm not her. And that's why I said that. I feel like if you ever get the inkling that there's somebody out there, better for you. Go be with her. Don't spare me. [00:07:17] Speaker J: Oh my God. My wife. [00:07:23] Speaker G: I don't. [00:07:24] Speaker J: I don't want I either, but I have to pick one, right? I don't want either one. Oh, man. I don't want to be settled forever. [00:07:34] Speaker A: Okay. [00:07:34] Speaker J: I don't want to be settled for it. Yeah. You know, if it moves on, I mean, I don't want. I don't want my wife to leave me or anything like that. But yeah, I definitely want to be settled for. [00:07:45] Speaker F: Dang settled. Or the best day ever. The best they ever had and they left. Okay, that'll boot. That'll boost my head up a little bit. [00:07:53] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, [00:07:57] Speaker I: settle. Because I think people settle anyways. I feel like everybody is. [00:08:01] Speaker F: Yes. [00:08:01] Speaker I: I definitely feel like you don't get everything you want in a person. So at some point you make a compromise on something. Like you might have a goal of 10 things and you might only get eight out of that person. So at some point you bring that level down a little bit, there's a degree of settlement. [00:08:15] Speaker K: Best day I ever had. But they leave me anyway. The imprint's gonna last forever, period. [00:08:21] Speaker A: Okay, [00:08:28] Speaker H: I'm gonna let you answer that one. You gotta answer that one. I don't even know how to answer that. [00:08:34] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:08:36] Speaker E: Can we just plead the fifth? [00:08:37] Speaker H: Yeah, we plead. Can we plead the fifth? On that one? [00:08:40] Speaker E: We happily married. [00:08:42] Speaker I: This is the hard place for our brain to go. [00:08:44] Speaker A: Okay, if. [00:08:46] Speaker G: If I find out she settled for me, does she stay? [00:08:48] Speaker A: Yeah, she stay. [00:08:51] Speaker G: O. I can't lose my baby. I had to. [00:08:54] Speaker J: I had to found out she settled for me. [00:08:59] Speaker A: Would you rather your partner have a se. Had a secret only fans before you met or find out that they had a secret child that you didn't know about? [00:09:08] Speaker H: Oh, only fans. Only fans. Me, I ain't no kids, man. That's the whole life. [00:09:18] Speaker B: Only fans. For sure. For sure. [00:09:24] Speaker F: O damn. [00:09:25] Speaker K: Only fans. [00:09:27] Speaker C: Definitely only fans. A child is life changing. [00:09:32] Speaker F: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:09:33] Speaker J: A secret. You said found out she had a secret child. I don't care if she had an old. I mean, I. Having a secret child seems like a way bigger deal than worrying about if she had only fans back in the day, so. Yeah, I don't care. [00:09:49] Speaker F: Yeah, bro, where you get these questions from? [00:09:52] Speaker G: G. Secret only fans. I'm going have to go with the only fans. [00:09:59] Speaker A: You going have to go with the only fans because it's before you met. I guess. [00:10:01] Speaker H: Yeah. [00:10:02] Speaker A: Okay. [00:10:04] Speaker C: What? [00:10:07] Speaker F: Either or. [00:10:08] Speaker I: Huh? [00:10:12] Speaker F: They could have only fans before I met them. Yeah, that's fine. Yeah, cuz a secret child. That's a secret child from me on me, Right? [00:10:20] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:10:21] Speaker F: Only fans. [00:10:22] Speaker A: Okay. [00:10:22] Speaker D: The only fan. Secret only fan. I can work with the. [00:10:29] Speaker A: He can work with the child. Last one. Would you rather marry someone who has amazing sex but gives you no peace? Or somebody that gives you all the peace but the sex is trash. [00:10:40] Speaker E: Number one, I ain't gonna hold you. I don't even think I like. Peace is cool and all, but I feel like I can. I could work on that. I feel like that's something I can help create and conjure. Now let me just be frank though. I think this is a loaded question [00:10:56] Speaker A: because what you get loaded? [00:10:58] Speaker E: Are we talking about like you giving great da da da, but you got 10 other people that you're doing that for too. That's a different. [00:11:04] Speaker A: No, it's just. It's just you. [00:11:06] Speaker E: Oh, yeah. Number one all day. [00:11:07] Speaker A: If it's just me, we just gonna. [00:11:09] Speaker E: We gonna be chaotic together. Babe, babe. [00:11:11] Speaker F: I need peace all day long. Peace is priceless. And we can work around the sex thing. You understand what I'm saying? But that peace. Peace is priceless. [00:11:32] Speaker D: I gotta. [00:11:33] Speaker F: I don't. [00:11:38] Speaker D: There's no choice for both. [00:11:40] Speaker A: No, no. It's one or the other. It's called either or. [00:11:42] Speaker D: You gotta go either or I gotta have my piece. [00:11:45] Speaker A: You gotta have your piece. [00:11:47] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:11:49] Speaker G: I'm trying to think what trashy sex would be like. Like. Like extra dry all the time. [00:11:54] Speaker J: Whatever. [00:11:54] Speaker G: You just laying there like whatever trash is, [00:12:01] Speaker H: man. [00:12:01] Speaker G: You know what? I'm gonna have to go with the good sex all the time. And I'm just gonna have to live in a separate house and have my [00:12:09] Speaker J: piece in my seat. [00:12:13] Speaker F: I'm a sex therapist, so I'm gonna need the sex and no peace. [00:12:20] Speaker J: You need peace and amazing sex. Oh, my God. I don't know, man. [00:12:27] Speaker D: I guess it's. [00:12:28] Speaker J: Wow. I figure out how to get some peace. [00:12:33] Speaker C: Trash. Damn. [00:12:35] Speaker K: I'd say trash. Trash sex. [00:12:38] Speaker A: Trash sexy. [00:12:39] Speaker K: Because we can work on that. [00:12:40] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. [00:12:41] Speaker F: All right. [00:12:41] Speaker C: They got things to help with that. We need our peace. We need our peace. [00:12:46] Speaker I: I'm gonna say peace. [00:12:47] Speaker H: Yeah. I ain't gonna lie. Peace is probably. [00:12:49] Speaker I: We can figure out the rest later. [00:12:50] Speaker H: Say, yeah, man, we go. There's ways. There's ways. [00:12:55] Speaker B: Trash. [00:12:56] Speaker A: Trash. Whatever your definition of trash is, like, can't be helped. [00:13:01] Speaker J: No. [00:13:02] Speaker A: For the rest of your life. [00:13:03] Speaker B: For the rest of my life. No peace. [00:13:07] Speaker D: No. [00:13:09] Speaker E: Well, [00:13:19] Speaker B: Okay, okay, okay. That lost in my mind. Right.
