Dear Nique,

How do I tell my father-in-law to back off? He pops up at our house, he pays people to come to fix things my wife tells him that is broken before I’m even able to handle it, and he still pays her car note I just found out when I saw it hasn’t been coming out of our account. To some, this may seem like he’s just helping out, but I feel like it’s taking away from me fully having my wife and being her husband. I already talked to her about it and she said that’s her daddy and she only gets one. I talked to my father in law man to man and he said if his child tells him something needs to be done he’s doing and that’s just that. I feel like I’m fighting for my wife and my manhood. Don’t women need to leave the nest too? Please help me out before I send her back to his nest and out of mine.
