Nique thinks the gentleman should focus more on getting himself together, rather than trying to focus on getting back the woman he’s hurt and betrayed. Yusuf brings up the point that the bigger issue is the writer’s lack of maturity. C.L. reiterates the point that relationships can work if both parties put forth the work it takes. Cheating, lack of accountability, and manipulative motives come up in the conversation as well. Are there drawbacks to marrying in your twenties? Are inappropriate work relationships breeding grounds for deception? The team analyzes the statement, “You can’t be married AND single,” and the conversation takes a life of its own.
