On today’s midday episode of RSP, the crew responds to a Dear Nique letter. The writer wonders if she should be concerned about her boyfriend’s reaction to receiving a compliment from a gay man. She describes him as showing “rage,” towards this man, and she believes this to be a sign of homophobic behavior. While the crew agrees that the young man was out of line, the team is definitely divided. The gentlemen see no problem with the man’s reaction, but the women believe that showing violent aggression was not the best way to handle the situation. Ultimately, they all land here: this isolated incident shouldn’t be a major cause for concern; however, the couple needs to have an intense conversation about their feelings towards the LBGTQ+ community.
