On today’s episode of RSP, the crew is joined by K Antoinette the Blogger, founder of Let’s Build Futures, a service which provides mentoring and a space to have healthy dialogue on a variety of topics. Today’s conversation is about the common challenges millennials face when dating. Based on the generation cohorts’ birth years, Nique and K Antoinette would be considered millennials (Generation Y), while Professor Tee, Yusuf and CL are members of the Gen X pool. The crew discusses dating challenges that both groups can relate to, but much of the content highlights the vast differences between the two age groups. They discover that millennials are more likely to abandon some traditional dating concepts, like men paying for the first date. K Antoinette believes the biggest problem millennial daters face is lack of self-awareness, and Nique thinks the issue is millennials tend to wait for the next best thing.
