Show Notes
Hosts: Nique Crews, C.L. Butler, Nateisha & Yusuf
Topic: "Love" VS. "In Love"
On this week’s episode of RSP, the team discusses “love” and “in love.” They tackle the perceived differences between the two, concluding that many people treat the term “in love” like it’s the greater goal. Often used, the phrase, “I love him/her, but I’m not in love” suggests that love is not enough. C.L. challenges the term, stating emphatically that it’s not even a thing, and he doesn’t believe in the term “in love.” Professor Tee admits that she had a warped understanding of the two until her dad helped her see the flaw in her thinking. Nique shares a personal experience of being in love, while also sharing how that love still impacts her today. Finally, Yusuf admits that what he once thought was him being in love was actually him being infatuated with the person. Be sure to chime in, and be prepared to share your definitions and experience with “love” and “in love.”
